will realize music hasn’t changed much since 1700.
The world, to be the world, was created instantaneously,
otherwise it could not be the world.
If a field as wide as music hasn’t changed,
why do you think my thoughts will change?
Why do you think you and I will change?
We will not. The leaf dries and falls and death determines
whole shifts in the hills. But this isn’t change.
Nature, spied in its circles, spins always the same.
In the day consciousness cries a little to itself and falls asleep.
Science stands on sand, calling each grain its name.
The world does not change. Why do you think I will change?
The concept of God is simple. God is the unchangeable.
Vivaldi has always been the past.
I thought a thought that was always mine
and saw myself at last.
