Good and evil both want God.
Disagree with them at your peril. God
is certain both good and evil
need to be served. God
cannot be wronged by good or evil
so it’s best to want what all want: God.
Do you think evil wants you to be free?
Do you think you can escape evil’s God?
Do you think evil believes any less itself
than good believes itself?
And this belief—is it not what we mean by God—
no matter where we find belief,
whether scripture, a newspaper
or a Hollywood film?
The facts are yours. And beliefs? Those, too.
None of them believe in them. They believe in you.
