
For years I have written poetry on obvious things--- accessibility is the thing that sings. I cannot bring myself to be obscure, or write pretentious avant shite. That's because I wish to talk to you--- but can't. Lyric poetry will have to do. You are---inaccessible, yet known to me--- and if what's known to all, the all of poetry, gives me comfort, the challenge is to find similar to yours the same within my mind. So I write what you may wish to consider inside your autumn, inside my winter.
