The reason I am writing a novel today
is because I didn’t write one yesterday.
Novelty is everything. You can do whatever
you say you will, and if you say it in a poem
it may be a puzzling joke. “I am
going to do it” may really mean I am not.
Poetry beats vows.
It’s up to the poem. The poem is king.
I feel that I could write a novel, but should I feel
writing a poem about writing a novel
is more important, watch out!
This poem may not tell you one interesting thing.
